Reflective AI
Problem
The increasing use of AI by the platforms carries in itself misconceptions regarding this technology in the eyes of the users, who either focus on the benefits and neglect their privacy or focus on the risks and criticize the platforms altogether. More transparency and new use practices are required to ensure the smooth integration of AI into existing platforms and services.
Research Outcomes
We suggest a new framework for the development and the use of AI technologies in a way that harnesses the benefits and prevents the harmful effects of AI - reflective AI. Based on a workshop as well as semi-structured in-depth interviews with experts from various fields we identify requirements for the reflective AI system. The full report can be found here.
My responsibilities
